Zen S.P.O.T is a dedicated pediatric therapy center focused on helping children grow, learn, and thrive with confidence. We provide specialized Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy tailored to each child’s unique developmental needs. Our compassionate team creates a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can build communication, motor, sensory, and daily living skills through personalized and play-based therapy approaches. We work closely with families to encourage steady progress and meaningful developmental success.

Physiotherapist:

Munira Kantawala is Physiotherapist with 

over 20 years of experience, dedicated to helping

children and their families thrive through movement.

Her clinical practice spans working with infants,

children, and adolescents (from birth to 18 years), as

well as adults with pediatric-onset conditions,

addressing a wide spectrum of developmental,

neurological, orthopedic, and functional concerns.

She currently works in private practice in the beautiful

town of Milton, primarily serving the Halton Region

and surrounding areas. Since 2014, she have been

practicing in the Greater Toronto Area—first as a

Resident and then as a Registered Physiotherapist.

Throughout her career Munira has worked closely

with Occupational therapists. She has a deep

understanding of sensory dysregulation and is

experienced in creating tailor-made sensory-motor

plans for her clients. She believes in empowering

parents with the tools and knowledge to promote

their child’s development through purposeful play

and positioning during everyday routines.

Her approach blends postural alignment, core

function, and central stability with Sensory Integration

principles to create individualized, developmentally

appropriate therapy plans

SLP: 

Abinayaa holds a Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in Chennai, India. Abinayaa is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is also a Speech-Language & Audiology of Canada (SAC) member. She is passionate about pediatric care, with experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre and providing teletherapy services. She has actively participated in outreach activities involving children with developmental difficulties in remote villages through developing home programs and empowering grassroots workers. She enjoys conducting storytelling sessions centring on total communication for neurodiverse children. Her interest lies in understanding and supporting children’s development in the areas of language, articulation, social communication, literacy and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC). She is trained in the Hanen Centre’s ‘More Than Words Program’ for parents of autistic children or children who may benefit from social communication support. She is an ‘Avaz certified AAC professional,’ which helps her integrate AAC into her practice. She has also completed the NLA Professional Training program to support gestalt language development. She is bilingual, with full professional proficiency in English and Tamil and has a limited working proficiency in Hindi. She strongly believes communication is for all and goes all out to make the process fun and engaging for her clients.

 

CDA: 

Tina Fallis is a highly experienced Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) and Intervenor for the DeafBlind, bringing more than 30 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families across educational, home, and community settings.

Throughout her career, Tina has worked extensively with children with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, complex communication needs, and diverse learning profiles. She is passionate about helping children develop meaningful communication skills while building confidence, independence, and positive relationships.

Tina believes that every child learns best when they feel safe, understood, and valued. Her approach is relationship-based, child-centred, and individualized, using engaging, play-based activities that support functional communication, language development, social interaction, and confidence through each child’s unique strengths and interests.

Known for her warm, compassionate, and encouraging nature, Tina quickly builds trusting relationships with children and their families. She is committed to creating positive, meaningful experiences that empower children to communicate, connect, and thrive.

Tina believes every child deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential, and she considers it a privilege to be part of each family’s journey.
